Teach Your Dog some Manners!

Our Simple Manners Dog Training course is the perfect next step for puppy pre-school graduates, as training doesn’t stop once puppy pre-school finishes!  Older dogs are also welcome as it’s never too late to teach an older dog new manners or refresh their existing manners! 

During the 5-session course, you will learn all the basics that your dog needs to be a polite pooch, plus  learn real life skills – such as how to stop your dog from dragging you down the street on your daily walks, how to teach them to let go of your socks instead of running off with them, and how to make them want to come back to you when you call them at the park!  Plus we troubleshoot common doggie issues like jumping up at visitors and barging through doors, and more.

• Classes held indoors at the Birch Hall A&P Showgrounds, Richmond
• All family member’s welcome

PLEASE NOTE:  

Any young dogs attending class MUST have completed their course of puppy vaccinations and be at least 16 weeks old.

If your dog is over six months of age and tends to lunge and bark excessively at other dogs when on leash, please check first before booking, as this group class environment may not be appropriate for them yet – we can discuss other options such as a private session to help troubleshoot this behaviour.

These group classes are not puppy play/socialisation classes, and there is no on or off-leash play time during our sessions. This class is designed to help your dog to learn to focus on listening to you around other dogs and people. Whether your dog is super friendly or very shy, these classes will help them to learn to ignore distractions and choose to pay attention to you!
